+Carpentry Apprentice
Position Summary: We’ve designed the Carpentry Apprentice program with the intent of finding the right candidate with exceptional work ethic and the desire to pursue a career in finish carpentry and training this individual to become a master of carpentry. This position requires having the enthusiasm to learn while working alongside our team of finish carpenters and corroborating with our entire design and construction team, trusted subcontractors, and Clients. This candidate will be able to adhere to instructions from the finish carpenters, while working as an effective member of a construction team with a common goal.
Essential Responsibilities: While the items listed below are intended to define the major aspects of the position, they are not intended to be a complete list of responsibilities. An important factor in the success of the Carpentry Apprentice is the understanding that flexibility in helping others is essential for the overall benefit of the company.
Primary Functions:
- Perform various finish carpentry tasks on our commercial construction projects which could include installing cabinets, trim, doors, countertops, sills, etc.
- Occasional light framing and drywall work if needed
- Small demolition work on occasion
- Transportation of materials using company vehicles
- General cleanup of jobsites
Position Qualifications: Below is a list of the minimum knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to execute the key responsibilities of the Carpentry Apprentice:
- Passion for carpentry.
- Will be able to read and follow architectural drawings.

+Project Architect with 3+ years of Design-Build Commercial Construction Experience
Position Summary: The ideal candidate will be a qualified architect who is able to construct clear documents using Revit. This candidate should have an in-depth knowledge of all steps related to project completion and be able to communicate with necessary people to ensure timely execution. This candidate should also be able to conduct quality assurance checks on a frequent basis in order to ensure compliance with design and construction documents.
This person will need to effectively organize, communicate, delegate, and follow through on all tasks involved in completing a comprehensive set of building design documents. The Project Architect needs to work hand-in-hand with Project Managers, field Superintendents, Subcontractors and Clients to facilitate a complete turnkey building project on time and on budget.

Primary Functions:
- Complete the initial zoning/code check
- Attend meetings with Owners/Clients as necessary
- Complete preliminary design sketches for preparation of budget numbers
- Complete the construction document set
- Set the schedule of drawings and associated hours for preliminary sketches
- Initiate the internal drawing review check with architectural department
- Secure consultant quotes (civil, soil borings, landscape, structural and interiors)
- Review the municipal requirement for zoning approval
- Attend all municipal meetings
- Review project documents with a Project Manager for turnover to field Superintendent
- Review project documents with a field Superintendent
- Review and approve all shop drawings
- Set up and initiate site visits with Superintendent and Owner
- Maintain field report documents
- Answer all questions that relate to drawing or design issues
- Communicate with Superintendents, Project Managers and Owners to resolve issues as they occur
- Maintain change of scope documents
- Set up punch list and complete with Owner and Superintendent
Position Qualifications: Below is a list of the minimum knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to execute the key responsibilities of the Project Architect:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture
- 3+ years of experience in design-build construction and or architectural field
- Strong organizational, creative and presentation skills
- Proficient in Revit
- Must be well versed in international series codes, Planning and Zoning Ordinances, and the submittal process for construction documents for approval
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word and Excel) in order to track projects accordingly
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously with the ability to meet deadlines both collaboratively and independently

- Leadership skills which will motivate the team and impact the future success of the Architectural Department

+Project Manager with 5+ years of Design-Build Commercial Construction Experience
Position Summary: We have one position available for an enthusiastic, dependable and service-oriented individual to assist our Clients in bringing their visions to reality as a member of our Project Management Department. The Project Manager is the leader of the project team, and will need to effectively organize, communicate and follow through on all tasks involved in facilitating a complete turnkey building construction project, by working hand in hand with in-house Architects/Interior Designers, field Superintendents, Subcontractors and Owners/Clients to complete each project on time and on budget. The PM should always be keeping the project on task, managing the entire construction team and managing changes.

- Consult with Clients, vendors, subcontractors as well as fellow Project Managers to discuss and formulate estimates for material, labor, equipment and specialty costs
- Obtain and organize a minimum of 3 prospective bids in all major areas of construction
- Answer questions from the prospective subcontractors as they come up in the bid process
- Negotiate with subcontractors on costs and timing as necessary to meet schedule and budget needs
- Resolve issues and develop project schedules to assist in the estimating process
- Analyze plans, specifications, proposals, and other documentation
- Issue subcontracts/purchase orders as necessary for assigned projects
- Produce critical path construction schedule with Superintendent
- Approve invoices related with assigned projects
- Setup breakdown for AIA Pay Applications
- Coordinate monthly Pay Application/billings
- Track project status, results and quality to provide regular updates to Clients
- Anticipate and remove possible project barriers
- Coordinate with Clients to accomplish project goals while maintaining positive business relationships
- Maintain project schedule with on-time deliveries
- Lead multiple project teams that include site engineers, superintendents, and foremen to sustain maximum profits
- Distribute project punchlist to subcontractors
Position Qualifications: Below is a list of the minimum knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to execute the key responsibilities of the Project Manager:
- Minimum 5 years in design-build project management position and minimum 7 years commercial construction experience
- Procore experience preferred
- Have a proven track record of managing long standing relationships, with references that verify the motivation, success and solid work ethic
- Eager to learn and work well in a fast-paced team environment
- Communicate frequently with Clients regarding project status
- Quote work and effectively manage the project to make profits
- Experience in conceptual estimating, hard bidding and budgeting as well as pricing work we self-perform, plus pricing complete tenant build outs and interior renovations

Position Summary: We are always looking for the perfect candidate to teach the ropes of construction. That often starts out as a position as one of our general laborers to learn all aspects of construction. This position is your way to get a foot in the door, and the path you take next is up to you! We will train the right candidate in carpentry, landscaping, property management, and more! Qualified candidate will have the drive to succeed as a member of a team, as well as the internal motivation to push their own limits. Working under the direction of a supervisor, this position would have guidelines on work to complete each day, but be required to manage time as efficiently as possible.

+Snow Removal
Seeking a snow removal professional to work as part of a team during the winter months to remove snow at local commercial businesses. Work hours include days, nights, weekends and holidays, depending on the weather and timing of snowfall.
Ideal candidate will learn tasks quickly and be able to work independently at the direction of a supervisor. All snow removal will be done using company-provided equipment, machinery, materials and tools.
This position would be responsible for completing a variety of tasks which may include:
- Shoveling snow from sidewalks
- Salt application (often by hand)
- Plowing commercial parking lots
- Ideal candidate will have ability/license to use heavy equipment (bobcat, loader, etc.), or willingness to learn
Pay based on experience and skillset, but will start at $15/hour minimum.
Position Qualifications:
*Candidate must have satisfactory driving record and valid driver’s license in order to drive company vehicles.
*Experience preferred, but willing to train the right person with the desire to learn.
*This is intended to be a seasonal job, but the right candidate could be trained as permanent, full-time laborer.
